Leadership

Jane Addams Leadership is represented by the members of the Leadership class (student council/ ASB), student leaders who devise, plan and coordinate school-wide activities. Leadership consists of student officers and 7th/ 8th grade students; they develop events and programs through their committees while also discussing and voting on how Leadership funds are spent. Leadership students are chosen not only for their exemplary citizenship and academic performance but also for their dedication to representing and promoting the best interests of their peers.

Application Process

Application process usually happens in May. Students are able to submit an application if interested.  The application has questions as to why they would want to join and any ideas that they can share in regards to leadership. After the application is submitted, students will need to go through an interview process given by the leadership teacher. Leadership students will also need to be recommended by a teacher. Leadership is only available to our 7th and 8th grade students.
