Welcome to JAMS!

I am Anne-Marie Mowad, Principal at Jane Addams Middle School, and I am honored to welcome you to our school community. I work alongside Ms. Jami Valentine, our amazing Assistant Principal.  We look forward to working with all of our students and parents to make this a successful and positive year of learning as it is our mission to provide high quality education that empowers students to think critically and develop skills to adapt to the ever changing world.

We encourage our parents and families to stay connected and involved as parent involvement is essential for the overall success of our students and our school. Jane Addams offers various opportunities for parents to stay connected and be actively involved with the school community such as attending School Site Council meetings and ELAC meetings, participating in Back to School Night, Honor Roll assemblies, parent conferences, and parent workshops, and supporting parent volunteer opportunities. I will send out reminders to all of our special events and meetings through the year as well as provide updates via our website and social media pages - you can find us on both Facebook and Twitter. 

I look forward to working with all of you to ensure the success of all of our students.
