Math - Week of 11/11/2019

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR MATH, PERIODS 6, 7, AND 8

TIPS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN MATH - Have your math module packets, spiral notebook, and all other necessary materials with you every day in class. Taking good notes, completing all the classwork/homework, and staying organized are keys to your success. Review your notes/classwork each day BEFORE you begin your homework. USE your notes while you do your homework when you get stuck on a problem. Use the Go Math online resources like the Student Interactive TE to review lessons I've taught in class. If you have questions, ask them in class, at lunch, or after school. In general, I am available to assist students Tuesday and Thursday at lunch, and Monday and Wednesday after school. Take advantage of opportunities to RETAKE tests (when available); this is your chance to learn from your mistakes!

RETAKES - The Retake for the Module 4 Test will be available this week - only 2 more chances! Wednesday after school and Thursday at lunch + finishing after school on Thursday! Retakes are available to students who did not pass the test the first time around, so students with a D or an F may retake a test. However, in trimester 1, I will also allow students who received a C to retake this test as well. Students who do not attend the review session can still retake the test, but they will need to pick up a Retake Ticket from me, and they will need to prepare on their own. All students retaking the test must complete the Retake Ticket and make a Study Card for the Retake.

TESTS THIS WEEK IN MATH: Module 5 Test on Friday!

TEAM PRINCETON NEWS FOR STUDENTS AND PARENTS

FOR THE WEEK OF 11/11/2019   HERE'S THE SCOOP...

Monday is Veteran's Day - no school : )

Please come to school prepared to learn and work hard!  Homework is assigned on a daily basis; be responsible and complete all work on time. Make sure you charge your ChromeBook every night, and bring it to school every day!

PARENTS, please make sure your son/daughter is being responsible with the ChromeBook. A number of students are not getting these charged every night, and this is having a negative impact on their ability to complete work in class.

Trimester 1 will soon be over! Turn in all missing work by Friday, November 15th.

LET'S GO PRINCETON TIGERS!!!!!!!!!
